We want to ensure, through acquisition and management of our asset exposure, that we maintain a highly focused, professional, and proactive approach to maintaining long-term cash stability and value at risk, that is well understood through the company, to the board and shareholder. In addition, we expect to apply this insight to the further growth of our business through M&A, of which we have executed >€1.5bn in 2019 and we target a similar level over the next five years.

Main Function & Scope

The role is to provide day to day support to the European Accountant and at times the European Financial Controller within the European side of the business. Support on but not limited to vendor invoice and payment management, administration, VAT and other finance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor invoice management, working with third party providers
  • Vendor payment reviews, working with third party providers
  • Vendor bank detail verification 
  • VAT Support for Statutory Reporting
  • Entity information maintenance
  • Documentation reviews, Inter-Co loan documentation and maintenance
  • Month-End support - working with the European Accountant on verifying the monthly results and working with Group to have these posted into Finance System
  • Support Inter-Co reconciliation work
  • Audit support
