Main Function & Scope


To support the operation of Ventient’s French wind farm portfolio and lead the life extension and repowering initiatives.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead negotiations with landowners and agents to secure options to extend existing leases to allow for lifetime extensions of operational wind farms.
  • Lead negotiations to secure Option Agreements to allow repowering of wind farms, extensions and colocation with complimentary technologies such as solar PV and
  • Secure land agreements for hybridisation opportunities such as solar PV capacity and potentially other growth initiatives.
  • Support the Asset Management, Legal and Financial Teams in the management of ongoing site and landowner issues and dispute resolution. 
  • Support the development of the repowering strategy for France. This will contribute to the company’s strategy in terms of the timing and delivery of development works for repowering in France.
  • Support Environmental Impact Assessment and permitting processes for repowering and other growth opportunities in France.
  • Work with the asset management and stakeholder engagement teams to consult, engage and build support with local communities.
  • Work with the team in exploring and delivering new growth opportunities which may include new or emerging technologies.
  • Design and coordinate the delivery of habitat management plans in support of planning processes for life extension and repowering.

Travel Requirements

Regular travel within France for landowner and other meetings
