Key Responsibilities

1. HSE Administration

  • Act as main UK HSE contact for HSE queries and administration of SharePoint
  • Be responsible in the administrator of various HSE requirements (including but not limited to:
  • Incidents/Hazard Reports and upload onto the database, and inform HSE Manager on day’s incidents
  • Recording of Non-Conformities / Customer complaints and administrate the customer satisfaction process
  • Complete HSE Reports
  • Online HSE training and HSE Inspections (Safesmart), including DSE Assessments for Office and Remote working administration and coordination with the 3rd parties
  • Administer the CoSHH Management Database
  • Coordinate asset manager reporting close out
  • Calibration & Statutory Inspection Registers
  • Provide general support to the HSE team
  • Be main contract to order and coordinate the supply of specified health & safety equipment (PPE)


2. HSE Inspections / Facilities

    • To complete monthly HSE inspections in the Edinburgh Office (and other facilities)
    • Monitor and record data collection from sites, for example for Waste, Water, etc
    • Facilitate HSE requirements for managed premises (e.g. PAT testing, fire systems/extinguishers, security alarms and legionella contracts)


    3. ISO Documentation & Reporting

    • Be responsible for coordinating, collating and administrating the Master Document Register for ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001
    • HSE related reporting and data management


    4. ESG

    • Collate ESG related data / documentation as required


    5. HSE Training

      • Administer online HSE training
      • Coordinate HSE training for the wider company

      Skills & Knowledge

      Essential

      • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Programs , mainly Excel (required)
      • Can enter and retrieve electronic data accurately (required)
      • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (required)
      • Excellent organisational skills (required)
      • Hold a SCQF Level 6 / NQF/QCF Level 3 Health & Safety or Quality qualification (desirable)

      Desirable

      • Experience with Health and Safety metrics


      Relevant Experience

      Essential

      • Good knowledge of Health and Safety basic regulatory and legal framework


      Education & Qualifications

      • A H&S qualification
      • Hold a SCQF Level 6 / NQF/QCF Level 3 Health & Safety or Quality qualification (desirable)


      Software Programmes

      • Microsoft Office Suite, mainly Excel


      Travel Requirements 

      • Infrequent UK Travel
